Last week, you may have experienced some downtime. We had a number of attacks on the server that caused problems. Because of this, we decided to re-install the server today and upgrade it to a higher security-level. Due to different reasons this had to be done right away.

We are up and running again and apoligize for any inconvenience.

Although it has been a while, we just found about it. Scoutle has been discussed on Italian television. A couple of days after launching Scoutle version 2.0. The Italian user base has always been pretty large compared to other non-english/dutch languages but who knows this has helped more than we know.

Today is a special Scoutle day. First of all, Scoutle has been online for over 8 months but also today web-log.nl (largest blogprovider in The Netherlands) now fully supports Scoutle by having developed a so-called ‘Scoutle-BlogToy’ for their users.

It may not be a surprise that we are very proud. Not only will it be a lot easier for web-log.nl users to add a Scoutle Widget to their blogs, but it also helps us promote our service in the country where it all started.

So, not only a special day.. but actually a fantastic day!
